Math Exhibition
For this exhibition we had to present a POW. My group and I chose to do POW 8 or the Economical King. For this POW my group decided to construct a poster. It had the process and solution along with a diagram of our POW. What our group did to prepare for this exhibition was just a lot of project work time. We probably had 2 class periods of just work time and that helped us out a lot. Teaching this POW helped my understanding of it because it gave me a whole new interactive side of the problem. Like explaining to parents the process then showing them on the scale how to solve the problem.

Throughout the cookies project I learned many things. I learned how to graph a profit line and also how to find feasible regions. Another thing that I learned was how to solve inequalities and how to graph them with multiple variables. At the beginning of this project it was difficult because it was new. But as we continued and did more and more problems I got accustomed to the ways of solving these problems. How I developed during this problem was understanding and grasping the steps in order to solve these problems. I was completely unaware of many of these terms such as profit line or feasible region. After this project these things are no longer unfamiliar to me.
Mini POW
For this POW we were given a problem about ice cream. The problem asked us how many combinations of ice cream we could put on one cone with 6 different scoops. How I started this POW was by drawing out the ice cream cones. After receiving help from a fellow classmate that there was more to it, a pattern. I saw that every number of scoops you have you multiply it by the previous answer. This led me to finding out all of the answers and combinations.
